After coordinating with over 30 school districts, updating individualized educational plans for each student for distance learning, and connecting with families to share the plan and assess needs, over 200 of our students are engaged in remote learning today! Families and teachers share that though there are ups and downs while transitioning to learning at home, there are amazing benefits as well!

Staff, students, and families talk by phone at least three times daily. This enhanced communication has strengthened bonds and learning. Educators are able to understand family needs, in real-time, and have been able to assist in providing behavioral supports to help parents and students engage and learn. Planning is already underway for what school will look like this fall, and though our teachers hope to be back in a traditional classroom with their students, they stand ready to innovate and connect beyond the traditional setting, as called upon.
