Fostering Immigrant Children

Transitional Foster Care for unaccompanied children

Would you like to provide a safe and welcoming home for immigrant children in the Richmond area? EnCircle is recruiting and training foster parents in the Richmond area to provide transitional care, typically two weeks to two months. These children have entered the U.S. by themselves and are awaiting reunification with family and sponsors already in this country. Working with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), enCircle is part of a network of organizations across the country that provide Transitional Foster Care to unaccompanied children.

With training and support from enCircle staff, you provide a safe and caring home environment. We provide educational, case management, and clinical services to address their safety, well-being, and community integration needs during the relatively short time they are with us.
