Workplace giving

Your workplace giving can make a big impact

Through workplace giving campaigns, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while supporting the causes you care about. Two of the most well-known campaigns—United Way and the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC)—raise millions of dollars each year to benefit charities like enCircle. These campaigns often run from September to December, making it the perfect time to contribute.

How to give

United Way
To designate your donation to enCircle, simply write “enCircle” in the designation line.
(If you write “Lutheran Family Services of Virginia,” that’s fine too—this is our legal name, and we’ll still receive your donation. "EnCircle" is our “doing business as” name.)

Combined Virginia Campaign (CVC)
If you’re a state employee, you can contribute to enCircle by using our CVC number: 003706.

Matching gifts
Many private employers also offer matching gift programs where your donation is matched dollar-for-dollar or more. Check with your company’s HR department to see if they offer this benefit and help your gift go even further.
