Maryam Tehrani

Maryam Tehrani

Maryam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, trained in Clinical Psychology and a Board-Certified Neurofeedback Clinician, with more than 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families across diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds.

Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of the connection between the brain, body, emotions, behavior, and relationships. She integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, TF-CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Integration (EMI), and the Gottman Method, together with mind-body practices that support nervous-system regulation and emotional well-being.

Maryam’s greatest passion is couples therapy. She views relationships as interconnected systems and helps couples understand the patterns that shape their connection, strengthen emotional intimacy, and create more secure and fulfilling relationships.

With a warm, culturally responsive approach, Maryam creates a thoughtful and compassionate space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood. She is fluent in English, Farsi, and Dari and has extensive experience working with diverse cultural communities.

Her goal is to help each client move beyond simply managing symptoms toward greater self-understanding, resilience, connection, and meaningful change.
