Josalyn Priest
Resident in Counseling
Josalyn graduated from James Madison University in 2018 and completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University in 2024.
She brings one year of clinical experience, working with individuals across a broad age range and presenting a variety of mental health concerns. Her primary focus is on adolescents and adults dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship and family challenges, anger management, ADHD, and acute trauma. She employs an integrative therapeutic approach, with a strong foundation in person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
She enjoys getting cozy on the couch with a good book or spending time outdoors during the warmer months.
Josalyn recognizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship and approaches her work with empathy and unconditional acceptance for everyone she serves.
